HYPSOS is in a new category all of its own, it was made in conjunction with the OOR and ERCO to provide accurate and stable power so they can operate at their most optimal performance. The great thing though is that you can use this power supply with lots of other manufacturers devices such as Chord Hugo TT's/TT2 to up their sound quality to the next level. The HYPSOS is a hybrid power supply that operates in Linear/Switching so that the noise floor is as low as can be. It cleans the power so that noisy ground hums can disappear. We have this on display here in the store for you to try out.
The HYPSOS uses a unique output 4-pin cable. Two of the wires deliver the power and the other two are providing the feedback so that it knows where the voltage is constantly at. HYPSOS comes with one of the two high quality DC power cables fitted with a 5,5x2,5mm and a 5,5x2,1mm DC plug, to connect to the most commonly used DC inlets. If you need different type of DC plug please contact us. To connect this to either the ERCO or OOR then you would want to purchase the Ferrum Power Link DC Power Cord@ $130 Canadian Dollars (plus tax). All Ferrum products are backed by a 3 Year Warranty.
